What peace does

peace is an AI participant you invite into a conversation. Once present, and with recording consent, it transcribes who said what and turns the discussion into evidence-linked artifacts — summaries, decisions, action items, open questions, and diagrams — that you can review afterwards in a workspace. It can also answer when addressed directly.

Adding peace to a Zoom meeting

peace joins a Zoom meeting on behalf of an authorized user. In outline:

  1. Authorize once. The person anchoring the bot grants peace access to their Zoom account through Zoom's standard authorization screen. This is what lets peace join meetings on their behalf.
  2. Invite peace to a meeting. Provide the meeting to peace (for example, by its join link). peace joins as a clearly named participant, "peace".
  3. Grant recording consent. On joining, peace requests the host's local-recording permission. Zoom shows its native recording-consent prompt and plays the standard recording disclaimer to participants.
peace stays as long as its authorizing user is in the meeting. Its session is tethered to the person who invited it — when they leave, peace's session ends and it finalizes its notes.

The recording-consent flow

Using peace during a meeting

Just talk naturally — peace transcribes in the background. To get a response in the moment, address it directly, for example: "peace, summarize what we've decided so far." It answers in the conversation, grounded in what was actually said.

After the meeting

peace's notes are organized into a workspace: summaries, decisions, action items, open questions, and flow diagrams. Every generated item links back to the exact transcript segments it came from, so you can verify any claim against the record.

Removing peace / revoking access

  1. During a meeting: remove the "peace" participant, or have its authorizing user leave — peace's session ends and it stops recording.
  2. Revoke authorization: in your Zoom account, under Settings → Installed Apps (Marketplace), remove the peace app to revoke its access to your account.
  3. Delete recorded data: because peace stores data locally on the operator's machine, ask the operator to delete the relevant conversation. See the Privacy Policy.

Other platforms

On Discord, peace joins a voice channel by command and announces itself in the channel; participants can leave the channel to opt out. peace can also process an uploaded transcript file directly, with no live call.
